The Marketing Skills Certification (MSC) training and certification program is a key objective of the Business Marketing Association nationally. Each year, a four-hour credentials examination is administered to participants by an independent testing organization. Local chapters, such as Chicago, provide various training materials and training workshops to help participants prepare for the exam, which measures communications expertise in several areas of b-to-b marketing. That’s why employers and prospective clients look for the MSC designation. Providing support to local educators and students is a priority for BMA. Students are invited to attend BMA events at member prices. We value our ongoing contacts with area marketing faculty and are working to develop programs to coordinate with their efforts.
